No not at all. You are just trying to speculate something to you are incredibly far out on. Now, Barry Bonds is being indicted now, but the FED isn’t going to lose a case. They are going to make sure they have the right evidence. They didn’t wait until he broke the record. Heck, they would have done it way before the broke the record if they had the right evidence. Everyone loves Hank and no one likes Barry, think about it.

Your only hope of A-Rod not being on the juice is if baseball is working under the table to keep A-Rod’s name clean so when he breaks the record it covers up Barry Bonds. Once again people like Alex and I could see baseball covering anything up to protect Alex but I still don’t see that happening.

At this point, I wouldn’t put anything passed anyone. The reason people think A-Rod is on the juice is because of his stats. They are remarkable. It would be nice to think he did it all naturally and on talent alone. But it seems when a name is mentioned, by the Mitchell report or Canseco, eventually the assumption is correct. Whether it is steroids, HGH, or other performance enhancing drugs, it seems a number of athletes use them. It almost seems like it is more difficult to not use them. The pressures are there to produce, especially in NY and with that big of a contract. But here’s hoping some of these athletes prevail on their skills alone.

While one may listen now to Canseco when it comes to people he actually played with, McGwire, Clemens, Gonzalez, the question of how he would link Alex Rodriguez to steroids has to be investigated.

Rodriguez is not significantly bigger than could be expected (comparing him at age 18 is hardly fair)

Canseco’s motive may be financial too, if he suggest he will include something about Arod, he may sell more books (which is why he only says it in passing)

Canseco’s full of crap when it comes to A-Rod. The guy’s physique has not dramatically changed and he showed none of the other signs of steroid use or abuse. His statistics have not spiked like Bonds, McGwire, Sosa etc.
A-Rod is just a naturally gifted baseball player and I hope he breaks the home run record so that it can be back in the hands of someone who played the game clean.
Sadly, every player is now under the cloud thanks to those who used and A-Rod makes an ultra-convenient target because he’s the best player of his generation, he plays in New York and he isn’t the friendliest guy walking the Earth.
I’d need more than Canseco’s accusation, the two never played on the same team at the same time and Canseco would say anything to sell more books and earn more appearance fees.

if A-Rod was using then I guess you have to say jeter, nomar,weeks and so on are using. Guys like Bond,Sosa,Camanetti and McGuire all got Hugh body wise I don’t see that in A-Rod. I think A-rod is just very gifted

Canseco did try to extort money from Magglio Ordonez so I wouldn’t hold it against him to get money from A-Rod as he gets nears to the record.

This steroid controversary just got REALLY big thats why Bonds was investigated until recently.

And isn’t it possible that Alex just works really hard? Odviously he wasn’t named in the Mitchell Report and Conseco is a jerk.
